Presented to Wellpath
This summer the Kentucky Sheriffs Boys and Girls Ranch experienced one of it’s best camping seasons ever. This was due in no small part to the 24-hour daily availability of licensed nurses provided for our campers and staff by Wellpath.
As one can imagine, dispensing prescription medications, taking care of cuts and bruises, and headaches and upset stomachs can be a huge responsibility for our staff. This year that task was taken care of by a wonderful team of nurses who not only provided us with good medical care but had fun interacting and spending time with our campers.
We simply cannot thank these nurses enough. The Kentucky Sheriffs Association would like to give a special mention to Tania Pineiroa for seeing our needs and convincing Wellpath to undertake this project.
The 2019 Kentucky Sheriffs Association Support Award goes to Wellpath and their great nursing staff.
